Use a fluoride rinse once in the morning and once at night
before going to bed.
Avoid all beverages with sugar, especially sweet tea and sodas. Sugar feeds plaque that decalcifies
your enamel and leaves ugly marks on your teeth.
Stay away from any hard food, like ice, nuts, popcorn, corn chips, or hard candy. Also, avoid
sticky foods like taffy, chewing gum, or caramel candy. These foods will break your braces!
